## Description

### Hunt Board: Tall Sideboards with Elevated Legs for Dining Rooms & Entryways

A hunt board is a tall sideboard (32"–36" H) with a shorter cabinet and longer legs, creating an airy, elevated look. Originally designed for standing-height serving in English estates, hunt boards work beautifully in dining rooms, entryways, and living spaces where you want storage without visual bulk.

Every hunt board at Furniture From The Barn is handcrafted to order with your storage layout, leg style, wood, and finish.

### Key Features:

**Elevated profile
**Longer legs (12"–18" vs. standard 4"–6") create visual lift and maintain sightlines—ideal for smaller spaces or open layouts.

**Standing height
**Perfect for buffet serving, bar setups, or entryway use without bending down.

**Custom storage
**Choose all doors, all drawers, or mixed layout. Add interior shelves, dividers, and soft-close hardware as needed.

**Leg styles
**Turned legs (traditional farmhouse) or tapered legs (modern classic)

**Optional lower shelf
**Open shelf for baskets, barware, or display

### Specifications:

**Starting size:** 48" L × 16"–22" D × 32"–36" H _(custom sizes available)_

**Wood options:**

- Reclaimed pine or oak (standard—character and sustainability)
- New hardwoods: red oak, maple, hickory, cherry, walnut

**Finish:** Any stain or paint with protective topcoat, custom color matching available
