Yellow pine wood is a hard and heavy wood, similar to oak wood. Yellow pine naturally offers yellow undertones in appearance and has a beautiful grain. This is often a great choice for lighter (meaning more yellowish-looking) tables or other pieces of furniture. Yellow pine is only available up to 1 1/2″ thick. It is hard for us to make yellow pine look dark, and we suggest not to because we think it is best to show off the wood’s natural, lighter color.
