Custom Double Hall Tree in Reclaimed Pine

This custom double hall tree was built for a small entryway in an older Colorado home, designed to make the most of the available space. It arrives as two pieces that carry into the room and then assemble.

The piece is built entirely of reclaimed pine. Vertical plank backing sits behind six coat hooks, with four open cubbies at the top and two flip-up bench seats with storage below. The raised panels beneath the bench seats are fixed paneling, not doors.

The finish is Benjamin Moore Buck Trout Brown paint, which reads almost black from a distance and shows its brown tone up close. The natural wood plank backing and bench seats show the warmth and character of the reclaimed pine.
